How did it all begin (your journey to expertise)?
This timeline is a place for you to describe the journey you have been on as a company.
I like to have an even number (4, 6, 8, 10, or 12) blocks on this journey because the timeline looks better with even number of blocks :)
In this first paragraph, grab your reader into you and your company's story.

What is the next big moment in your Journey?
This is the next big evolution in your journey that you can find. Remember the headline is really important.
Also, notice the month and the year in the label at the top. You don't have to put a month and a year (you can do other things with this label), but it's cool to give people a time and a date if you can.
And try to find real photos that illustrate this journey. If not, you can always go find some stock images (shutterstock.com is paid and unsplash.com is free) that illustrates that time and place you mention.

Now the Story should be getting Interesting :)
Are you not quite sure what to say, or how to structure your story?
The best thing to do is go read a simple article on the Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell.
Here is a place you can define your journey from being brand new to an expert.
Go read this article, and pick 4, 6, 8, 10, or even all 12 blocks here to help you describe your story.
People love this storytelling framework (because all books and movies use it!)

Last Big Headline for your Story (make it Great!)
Maybe for some reason you don't want to put months and dates, you can figure out another version of how to use this label (Step 4, etc.)
Or you can switch of this label feature if you want.
But if you can remember them (or make them up) then use the Dates if at all possible.
Remember, most people don't read the fine print on a website. So they will process 3 things right away (the Date, Image, and Headline).
Everybody knows what they were doing during a certain year, so it's quite cool to put a year. Then a headline to explain what you were doing. And an image (hopefully real one) that illustrates that time.
I think you will agree that Telling your Story with images, dates, and copy is really cool!
